Project Brief
This was a difficult time for the people of Louisiana as the major hurricane Ida had just recently touchdown and left a lot of residents needing construction and aid. Southern Hammer & Nail wanted to get a jump on the competition helping the community while also assuring them with quality, trusted labor. I was tasked by them to create business cards, posters, and flyers to help inform people of what procedures they should take in order to restore their homes.
Southern Hammer & Nail Design Goals
The imapct of hurricane isaac left a mark on New Orleans that the city was all too aware of. Even though it was not as devastating as previous natural disasters the city had faced in the past, many people were left without a home or needing repairs from an affordable local company that they could trust. That is where Southern Hammer & Nail stepped in, and the designs needed to give off a sense of trust using the vast information needed to keep locals informed about what the right steps they should be taking.
Business Card
Clean, minimalist layout with easy-to-read fonts and high-quality printing on durable card stock. The wood texture and design elements echo the company's commitment to quality and reliability in the construction industry.
Brochures
The goal of the brochure was to be able to attach it to the doors of the people that were affected by hurricane isaac and to keep everyone informed of all the necessary procedures when dealing with the catastrophe. We wanted people to not only choose us for their business, but also understand why they should choose us by providing valuable information.
